Making My Flower Gal Vases Again!

I’ve set up a bit of studio space in the garage to create my flowergal vases again. In search of a clay as white and pretty after firing as my clay in Austin. With this vase, I drew on the face in glaze pencil after bisque firing and then used a clear glaze. I love the warmth and color of this clay once fired.  With all of my art, I like to include the collector in the process of playing with flowers. With these vases, you create the flowergal’s hat again and again with different flowers. It’s everchanging and everblooming.

I never did a vase like the above. I got one of the creatures. Also in the first picture in this post there is a partial picture in the background that looks cute but I don’t remember it. I have 4 or 5 pictures and I love them. Thank you for making your art!

      Hi Nancy,

Just checking in to see if your prints arrived and if you were happy with them. Let me know if you need anything or what your thoughts were about the process. And if there was too much time between ordering and receiving your prints. Hope you are well!! hugs, Curlin
